“I had a severe emotional eating disorder. I had lost 70 lbs. previously. But slowly pounds crept back on. Portions became too big. Eating was again forefront in my life. When I started working with Lacey, one thing she said to me was “It's ok to be hungry”. What?? That goes against everything I learned growing up. Lacey listened to me telling her my story. Listened intently! She had many solutions for me. Ways to work in healthier lifestyle habits to heal my body. We worked on achieving goals in weight, healthier foods and portions, better sleep, mindset, and even worked through a self-sabotaging behavior that was greatly affecting me.
I’ve even seen several therapists in the past, and wasn’t able to get a deep understanding on why I was self-sabotaging. However, with Lacey, I have been able to make many positive changes with the information we were able to discover together! I feel comfortable sharing these things with her.

“When I signed on with Lacey, I was unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised.
I'm 40 years old, I work midnights as a respiratory therapist in a level 1 trauma center. I try to make my health a priority, but my entire life and career I've struggled with weight management and getting proper sleep. I've been doing weight watchers for at least 8 years and juice plus for approximately 2 years.
I was really impressed at all the areas Lacey worked to touch on for me. She asked for a detailed schedule of a normal week and we talked a lot about my patterns. She looked for ways to see if I could find more sleep, as well as how to make the sleep I was getting more restorative. She recommended places where I could add more sleep as well as supplements to help me achieve quality sleep.
She really opened my eyes to small changes that I could make right now, by only modifying my routine a little bit... Which is exactly what I was looking for. I was not in a place of wanting to go extreme lifestyle change. She helped me take palatable steps.

My situation is about a year and a half ago I found out I had A-fib and chronic kidney disease (CKD), stage 3.
Lacey Reedy has been a tremendous help to me in all aspects of dealing with my current heath situation.
I have always been very healthy and fit. Never smoked, always eaten healthy and exercised regularly. No aches and pains or restrictions of any kind. However within about year and a half time I found out had both A-fib and stage 3 CKD. I had to have an ablation to correct the A-fib and am now on a somewhat strict diet as a result of the kidney disease. Neither are life threatening at this point but have caused major lifestyle changes for me.
The biggest adjustment for me is not being able to work out and eat the way I used to. Trying to keep the right mental attitude and stay positive was the biggest challenge for me, feeling anger and self-pity so to speak were becoming the norm and of course that affects one physically as well.
Lacey been instrumental in helping me overcome the negativity about not being able to do the things I once did and to eat the way I wanted.
She has helped with meal choices and some great recipes. Her nutrition suggestions have been spot on as well.
For me her greatest strength has been her ability to listen and pull things out of me that were hurting my mental well-being and offer ways to deal with those feelings.

“After going many years without a physical I went to the doctor and found I had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My Dr. recommended that I start on a prescription for my blood pressure issue, but I asked for some time to try to correct it on my own. I then started working with Lacey on my overall eating and exercise habits. By reducing eating out and eating a more plant-based diet, my blood pressure is now normal and my cholesterol is under control. With wanting to continue improving my overall health, I went on the 21-day detox with the support and encouragement from Lacey. After the first week, my body went through an intense detox and over the following weeks I started to feel better and better. Over the course of the 21-day detox I lost 15 lbs and felt more energized.
I have a family history of heart conditions and my uncle had to have a quadruple bypass at the age of 50.
